The wires don't bother me on account of the fact that my eyesight bearly allows me to see the television screen let alone ultra - thin wires. I do complain about the rubbish Carlton put on the discs (I listed all my complaints on my forum and can't be bothered to list them again). I mean is it really TOO much to ask for a simple thing like the sound to be in sync with the picture? Or to actually have the right sound effect where it should be. You are of course right about a good TB episode. I own a vast video collection. Nearly every episode of Doctor Who, The Avengers, a big chunk of Supermarionation, Upstairs Downstairs and all of Poldark. Yet I would part with them all tommorrow if somebody could make sure that my copy of Countdown to Disaster lasts forever. It's perfect - the music, the Setinel sunset, Bonga, Bonga, humour, action and for me it encompasses a wealth of my childhood which I never want to part with. Unfortunately like many of my friends and family it is fading away and will soon last only as a memory. Nothing lasts forever...not even a good Thunderbirds episode.
