"Look boys.." Jeff began, but he didn't get any further. Tintin entered the room, her face stained with tears and her usually perfect shiny hair in knots.
"Hey Tintin. You alright?" Gordon tried to look cheerful, but did not succeed.
"Oh Alan!" Tintin cried and threw herself into his arms.....

This would only be suitable for Scott's death, obviously because you've got to have some American voices, which have to be the boys. Just something to make you laugh!
