You make it sound like the Anderson's didn't know about the set design. They would have seen Give Or Take A Million. They supervised the scripts. If they were so adamant it's in 2065 they should have changed it. The further into the future you set the show the more it dates. There is no way they will be using reel - reel computers in 2065. It's not so bad in 2026 although it's not good either. Sorry but in the end you have to go by the dates seen in the series so that makes it 2026.
