I've thought of two:
In Move - And You're Dead, Grandma leaves her home to live on Tracy Island although she's living there before she leaves her home. They could've included this scene in TB2 where Alan is dropped off:
Virgil: Dad's decided to let Grandma live on the island. It saves her having to visit.
This could've been in Danger at Ocean Deep:
Jeff (to Scott): How many rescues have you been on?
Scott: all of them except when Penelope went to investigate the disappearance of that scientist.
