Rumour has it that a new series could follow on from the repeats if successful but no one has backed this up reliably.
While David Holliday (the original Virgil) is no longer with us, I think Jeremy Wilkin (who took over on the last six episodes and the films) is. I gather that Ray Barrett (John and the Hood) has even been contacted and if there is a new series we'll probably hear David Graham (Brains, Parker, Gordon and Kyrano) again as he recently did a video special starring Brains.
